| if you do it like that there is one issue if you plan on painting your engine bay you will need to mock the harness in once after the initial grind...remove the harness which won't be fun pulling back out...prep the now exposed metal surface to prevent rust...lay a base coat of paint and finally spray the engine bay and lastly put the harness back in. This was the main reason I went with the de-pin method. I figured I would just do it right the first time. But that could work if you are not particular. Not trying to start anything but that way worked for what I needed it for. Someone walked me through how to do the de-pin method...think it was Bernie....and I just made it a little more easier for a first timer. For a vet...agree...just do what you want.
